On Thursday, July 26th between 12pm and 1:30pm more than 40 children will enjoy a little holiday spirit in the summer. A team from Little Caesars Pizza and SPLLC’s Lend-a-Hand program will serve lunch at 12:30pm. "It's always healthy to step outside of our daily lives and focus on serving others,” said Melissa Michel, Lend-a-Hand program coordinator. “Problems always seem to get smaller that way." The children were chosen from several agencies in the Salt Lake area. Along with lunch and the holiday celebration, the children will receive a gift certificate from Little Caesars to enjoy after the event. "We are very proud of the individual participation by our team members,” said Ted Morton, Sizzling Platter CEO. “We love the communities we do business in and I think it shows." A new, Little Caesars will open this Tuesday, July 24th at 4pm at 3261 Cerrillos Rd. in Santa Fe. Sizzling Platter LLC, a Utah based restaurant management company owns and operates 13 Little Caesars in New Mexico. “We love the New Mexico community; we’re so very excited to add this 14th location," said Ted Morton, Sizzling Platter CEO. The company operates Little Caesars in five other states, including Utah. A community grand opening is planned from 4pm-6pm, where there will be a sampling the Hot-N-Ready Menu (Pepperoni Pizza, Cheese Pizza, 3 Meat Treat Pizza, Crazy Bread, Italian Cheese Bread, Wings and more).
